Zethan and Tractors

 My little Zethan man sure loves to farm. The only thing better than playing with his toy farm stuff is being out farming for real with his Daddy! He can just play and play with his tractors, combines, cows and fences. And anything and everything is fair game to get loaded up with his tractors.

This day it was colored pencils that were getting hauled around.

He is always entertaining us and giving us something to laugh about. I just love his imagination!!

Sometimes it is colored pencils, sometimes it is toilet paper that he is pretending to be hay bales, sometimes sea shells. Whatever is available-he hauls around.

So intent on lining them up just right! It is so nice that he can play independently! Soon his older brother and sister will be starting school and he won't know what to do without them!! But I have a feeling he may just enjoy being the oldest at home for a few hours each day =)

His brothers Keeper

It is nap time for the boys around here.
I have been making pies for d'Veers tomorrow so I was busy doing that.
I told Titus to go lay down for his nap. He complained a little and was concerned that Zethan was not having to take a nap as well.
I told him that I would bring Zethan up for his nap in a minute or two. After a few minutes had passed I realized that Zethan wasn't around and was sure he was in the bathroom making a mess of things in there.
I checked the bathroom and no Zethan. Well, he must have followed Titus up stairs and is playing in their room. I got up there and Zethan was already in his bed sitting there with his blankets and a book.
Titus was also in his own bed playing his leapster. I asked Titus if he put Zethan to bed. And he simply answered, "Yes".

I guess he wanted to make SURE that if he had to take a nap, so did Zethan. =)

Brothers

They just love each other.


So much ornery-ness for such a cute little guy. Don't you love how the hat is making his little ears stick out!

Finally a picture with them both looking! Matt was actually taking these pictures and I think he took 3 before this one and each time Zethan would close his eyes, put his head in front of Titus or turn his head. Boy, I love these little boys!

And I finally made something for Titus! I brought that hat up to him while he was playing in room and said "Here Titus, this is for you!"

He jumped up and said "For me?!? THANKS MOM!" And then he gave me a HUGE hug. It was so adorable. He must have been feeling a little left out since mostly I make girlie things for Lillie=)

Pony Beads & Boys

When Mom was cleaning out the basement she found a HUGE stash of pony beads. I think they were a garage sale find way back when.

I let Lillie and Kimalee make some necklaces out of them while the boys were napping. But when they boys woke up....

They had other plans for the beads. I told them they at least had to keep them in the bucket as best they could. They dumped all the colors together and then had at it dumping and pouring and scooping them.

Zethan thought it was grand. He had a few spills but they weren't too major. Definitely worth the time he spent playing by himself!

Just having a grand time! I'm not sure I would have let him just have at the beads except that Julie and Melissa both had blogged about their kids playing with sensory tubs and how much fun they had. So I figured why not?

And of course by the end Zethan thought it would be great to sit his whole body in the bucket. So fun!
