Fun Little Date
Matt has been trying to figure out a way to get away to Kansas City for a fun overnight date with just the two of us but with work and finding an overnight sitter for 3 kids and others' schedules and everything is was not really working out. So yesterday after lunch his mom kept the kiddos and we sneaked off to a fun little date!
It was a perfect day to be out. It was a little drizzly for awhile but no downpour, and the temperature was fantastic! So we hiked around the little waterfalls for awhile and just hung out. Matt couldn't do too much since he still has kind of a bum knee. But he was great about taking me! So sweet of him! And no kids! But we'll have to go back sometime with the kids because they would have loved splashing around!

Isn't that so funny how that works? Last Sunday we went on a little date like that and ended up at a fun spot on the lake. Last night we decided to go again because we thought the kids would have fun there. They kept saying, "You came here last week? Without us? No fair!" We said, "Yes! And it was so fun that we decided we wanted to bring you the next time. So here we are!" LOL!
