It's Christmas Outside!

The kids were terribly excited that it snowed so much over night. They even woke up earlier than they normally do in anticipation of there being snow on the ground.

"Hey kids, wave to the camera." ??????

Zethan was so freezing. He just wasn't real happy but he certainly did not want to go inside and miss out on the fun. He wouldn't keep the gloves on that we put on him so we put tube socks on him to at least help keep the cold off a little. And aren't the boys wearing pink snow pants a hoot! But that was all I had for them that fit!

Zethan, more than ready to pull the sled with the four wheeler.

Titus was up first. He wasn't sure what to make of the snow flying in his face but he loved the ride!

Lillie next! She loved it! Of course!


Then we had Lillie hold Zethan for his ride. I thought he would be too cold and just cry but as soon as we started going he just giggled and giggled! So cute! But then when he got back to the four wheeler and was sitting between Titus and me he kept saying, "Freezing, freezing" over and over again.

So we made them go in for a warm up break.

It was a great day! And so nice that we didn't have go to school!

Oh yes, and the title of this post is what Titus exclaimed when he saw the snow this morning!

Say cheese..

He was adorable in his little tie! These ties have an adjustable elastic around the neck and the tie length is also adjustable. So cute!

Titus was not in a great mood for picture taking and this cheesy grin and pose is the best one. All the others he is scowling or something. Or pulling his tie off.


Lillie is sporting her newest dress. A peasant dress. With the long sleeve version with elastic at the cuffs. {Pattern here} Of course next time I make the dress I will make a few adjustments to the measurements that the pattern calls for but overall it was a good straight forward pattern. Oh and I added the casing around the middle. Otherwise it was just like a hanging bag on her. Not so flattering.

Lillie liked it at first, then decided that she didn't because the sleeves were "silly". Then I told her that she had to wear it and I guess she gave up the fight of saying it looked weird and just wore it without any more complaining.

I made a messy flower hair bow to match. The fabric for the ties is Amy Butler and the dress fabric is all from Hobby Lobby.


And I really really wanted to get a few good pictures of them all together but of course there was too much going on and they weren't having any of it. The is the single picture I got of all three of them together. Great huh? Maybe next time....
