We had some family over for supper to celebrate Lillie being done with Kindergarten. It was so fun and relaxed. This could easily because a last day of school tradition! We had sandwiches on buns, chips, homemade blueberry muffins, brownies, pop, and for dessert we had slush. This slush is pretty much the best thing ever. My mom made it growing up every summer. It was always something we looked forward to and a sure sign of summer!
I am not very good at making plans ahead of time, so just the day before I was calling people inviting them to come over. Of course then that makes it difficult to have very many people make it since they have their own things going on. And one of Lillie's grandmas sick too, so that was a bummer. But it was so fun to all be able to crowd around the table outside and just hang out. And it was a beautiful evening, just a tad chilly, especially after eating slush! But really if your plates aren't blowing away in the wind, it is a nice day for spring!
Natalie came and she brought a cute little gift basket for Lillie. She is the best at putting gifts together and making them look so cute and fancy! Lillie loved it! She also knows just what to get her little niece! Also their grandpa came (Matt's dad) and their Grandpa & Grandma Stucky came. If you haven't figured it out by now, they are the ones who lived here on the farm before we moved in. And they are the ones that live at the end of town where Titus rode his bike to yesterday. (About 1 3/4 ish miles from here)
Hello!
Daddy and daughter. Lillie was trying to make a silly face while her daddy was squeezing her.
So he put his hat on her and she was trying to make it look like she didn't like it, but we all know how much little girls love it when their daddy's goof around with them! She loves her daddy!
And of course there is Zethan being the ultimate goof ball. He was really enjoying his brownie.
