Pettiskirt

Well, this was my project for today. Lillie really likes it so I guess that is what counts, but it didn't turn out quite as I wanted it to. I guess I'm not patient enough=)
She is wearing the dress her Grammy made her for Kylan and Mallory's wedding. The pettiskirt is on underneath.
Lots of twirling.

The finished product.

Doesn't it match great with her shirt. Haha! Oh well.

There are many mistakes in it and it isn't nearly as full as I really wanted. But it was kind of hard to get it all to stay put where I wanted it to. And then my sewing machine jammed up and I had to take it all apart so that got me frustrated and I just wanted to get it done. I'm impatient like that. Probably not a good trait.

So anyway, I'll probably try another one sometime. I bought fabric to make one out of yellow as well. But it'll probably be awhile before I start in on it=)

Pink Hat

Here is a little project I worked on yesterday and finished up the little flower today!

I'm not very good at reading crochet patterns but it was pretty simple. I think it turned out pretty cute. As long as you don't look too closely at it, it looks just fine=) I really liked what the little white flower added to it! So fun!

And on another note. Titus has been extra naughty lately. =0 Yesterday while we thought he was napping, he was putting on finger nail polish. And finger nail polish in the hands of a 2 almost 3 year old boy is not exactly a very clean thing. He did manage to get all of his finger nails painted though. Just with a little extra. It got all over his sister's bed sheet which I supposed is where he was putting it on. Then of course he just couldn't help himself and he had to 'paint' the wall by his bed. Oh my.
Then just now as I was getting lunch ready-egg casserole- I walked through the living room to do something and glanced over at Titus sitting so still on the couch. Hmm, I thought, he is watching the movie so nicely. And then a closer look, and, oh, he got my little, really sharp embroidery scissors and is cutting his jeans up. While they are still on him. Oh my. Naughty. Naughty. He has been told over and over that he is not supposed to have scissors. At least he didn't cut his leg up.

Please warm up soon weather so the kids can get their energy out in a positive way! At least where there aren't any scissors or any finger nail polish.

Little Zebers

Our sweet little guy!

Not really sure how that came about but for the majority of the time that is what I call him=) He is just so cute right now! With his little teeth showing and his goofy expressions. He is getting quite the personality! He is starting to have this funny little face when he grins where he scrunches up his little nose and closes his eyes. I tried to get a picture of it but he does it so briefly that is was a little difficult. These are all pictures that I took of him today. I guess he was in a good mood. He is almost 9 months old. He'll be 9 months on the 21st so in 10 more days. Here are a few of the things that he is doing now:
  • He is crawling everywhere and can get there pretty fast now
  • He pulls up on everything including my legs while I am trying to get things done=)
  • He crawled up a stair but I quickly got him down before we could see how far he would go
  • He has 6 teeth. Four on the top and 2 on the bottom. And the top ones practically all came in at the same time!
  • He giggles like crazy when tickled or when someone says "Peep, peep, peep" to him-in a high shrilly voice of course.
  • He is not a good night time sleeper. Up several times during the night. Trying to change that.
  • He usually has baby food at lunch time and dinner time.
  • Still won't take a bottle. But we haven't tried for awhile. Maybe he would now.
  • Pretty laid back little guy.
  • Likes to play in the nursery at church and even takes really good naps in there.
  • Pretty tolerant of his siblings. =)
  • An all around chubby baby!
  • Says 'dada dada dada' all the time
  • Has bright blue eyes like his daddy!
  • Still complains every single time he is put into his carseat.
  • Loves to watch animals!
  • Prefers Momma but still really loves Daddy and ALWAYS has a huge grin for him when he gets home from work!
  • A joy to all of us!
He is just so much fun right now and he is learning things everyday! We are very thankful for our sweet little Z!!
